As per records of the Epidemiology unit total Covid positive cases in Sri Lanka has come down to 983 as at 27th Sep 2021, a significant drop from what we did experience a few weeks back. This has largely being due to the lock down measures adopted within the country and the measures taken in terms of handling influx of personnel into the country from the Airport.
The total count of positive coronavirus cases found in Sri Lanka currently is at 514,592.
Sri Lanka also records 51 daily reported deaths due to Covid, with too is a significant drop with this positive trend, the country is most likely to be off the lockdown from 1st Oct.
