Colombo 75 Medics donates Rs.3.5Mn worth Medical Equipment

A stock of essential medical equipment for the care of patients affected by Covid 19 in Sri Lanka, the donation was made by the Colombo 75 Medics to 08 hospitals with the participation of Dr. Sudarshini Fernandopulle, State Minister of Primary Health Care, Epidemics and Covid Disease Control at the Ministry of Health today (27).

Rs. 3.5 million worth of this medical equipment essential for Covid treatment included 5 nos 10 liter Oxygen Concentrators, 10 nos Multipara Monitors, 16 nos Electronic Blood Pressure Aparators, 200 nos Venturi Masks and 11 nos Pulse Oximeters.

Prof. Harendra de Silva, President of the Colombo 75 Medics, donated the equipment to eight hospitals in Sri Lanka as Mannar, Karawanella, Teldeniya, Kegalle, Hambantota, Akuressa, Welisara and Horana.

Earlier too, the Colombo 75 Medics, with the support of Medical Aid to Sri Lanka UK, donated a stock of medical equipment worth over Rs. 08 million to 12 hospitals with the participation of State Minister Dr. Sudarshini Fernandopulle. This time too, the said organization and a medical team including Dr. Padmini de Silva have provided support for the donation.
