The eco-friendly and low cost ‘cardboard coffins’, made in Sri Lanka which was an innovation by Mr Priyantha Sahabandu of Dehiwala-Mt. Lavinia Municipal Council were shipped today to Vietnam. The shipment comprised of 1200 coffins which was as a result of an agreement between the Vietnamese Embassy in Sri Lanka and the Chairman of the Dehiwala- Mt Lavinia Municipal Council.
