The results of 2020 G.C.E Ordinary Level Examination have been released. Accordingly the results can be obtained from the official website of the Department of Examinations – www.doenets.lk.
However, it has been made to understand that some of the results of aesthetic subjects have not been finalized as a result of the practical exams not being conducted yet.
More than 622,300 candidates were reported to have faced the Ordinary Level Examination at 4,513 centers around the island. It has also been reveled that the ongoing teacher- principle trade union action also have had an effect on the delay in releasing the results this time over and above the Covid issued that the Country has faced.
The Ordinary Level exam was initially scheduled to be held in December 2020. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, it was postponed several times until the date was finally fixed for March 01, 2021.
