Five Sri Lankans set to represent the country at Paris Olympics 2024

Sri Lanka will have 5 athletes representing the country at the Paris Olympics 2024 which is scheduled to get underway from the 26th of July in France. Athletes who have qualified to take part would be:

Nadeesha Dilhani lekamge  and Thrushi karunarathna ( Track and field)

Viren Nettasigha ( Badminton)

Kyle Abeysingha and Ganga Senevirathna ( Swimming )

The 2024 Summer Olympics, officially the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad and officially branded as Paris 2024, scheduled to take place from 26 July to 11 August 2024 in France, with some competitions starting on 24 July. The games will have over 10,500 taking part in over 329 event in 32 sports.

The games opening ceremony will be at the Stadium: Jardins du Trocadéro and the Seine; whilst the closing ceremony has been arranged at Stade de France
