An awareness program organized by the Communication Department of the Parliament of Sri Lanka was held recently for the students of Muslim Ladies College, Colombo 04.
At this event, the Director of Legislative Services and Communications (Acting) Mr. Janakantha Silva gave an introduction to the process of the Parliament Business of the day, and Director (Administration) Ms. G. Thachchanarani explained the process of drafting bills.
The program was attended by a large number of teachers and students, including the principal of the school, Ms. Nasriya Munas.
