Inauguration of Centenary Commemoration of the Sri-Lanka Malay Association 22 January 1922 – 2022
The Sri-Lanka Malay Association celebrated their Centenary Commemoration on the 22 January 2022 with the present authority regulations and limitations, which was held at the Padang Complex, Colorado 02.
The ceremony was expected to be graced by the Minister of Mass Media Hon. Dullas Alahapperuma and due to an unavoidable circumstances, he had to send his Secretary Mr. Oshadi Alahapperuma to grace this occasion and H.E. Devi Gustino Tobing , Indonesian Ambassador to Sri-Lanka and the High Commissioner of Malaysia was invited as Guest of Honor.
At this Centenary Commemoration, a special song was introduced by a group of Sri-Lankan Malays in keeping with the Malay culture, where our younger generation will continue with the good work as done in the past and Malays in Sri-Lanka and overseas will be much thankful to this group to make this happen.
