With e-commerce continuing to gain rapid traction and businesses increasingly turning towards digitalisation, the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Microsoft will conduct a webinar on ‘The Realities and Prevention of Cybercrime in a Business World’ on 23rd February, 2022.
The most disruptive threat in the current context of the business world, the potentially devastating impact of cybercrime continues to be underrated by business leaders and decision makers in organizations, particularly in the South East Asian region. The increasing frequency of cyberattacks and cyber fraud and the consequences on financial infrastructure is limitless, and requires awareness and risk mitigation initiatives.
Conducted by national and international experts in the cybersecurity domain will lead discussions on cybercrime from a local context, the realities of cybercrime and recommended prevention methods, and the introduction of cybersecurity assessment tools. The expert panel comprises Asela Waidyalankara – cybersecurity advisor and consultant, Hee Teck Tan – APAC Cybersecurity Lead, Microsoft Pvt. Ltd and Paul Doles, CEO and Founder of QS Solutions, with the session moderated by Ashiq Niyaz – Small & Medium Business Lead/Digital Natives Lead/Volunteer Chief Learning Officer, Microsoft Southeast Asia Emerging Markets.
