The raging COVID-19 pandemic has ignited a 40% increase in social messaging applications. While such messaging groups facilitate communications between work teams and friends in a lockdown situation, there are lots of groups that remain old and inactive with only memes or spam messages continuously interrupting life.
Adding onto this is that constant ‘Ting Ting’ sound you get as the number of notifications from multiple groups keep piling on and disrupting your state of mind making it hard for you to focus on one activity.

With no intention to stop there, they have taken another step to call for the support of the public to officially instate this day as an ‘International Group Exit Day’.
