Sri Lanka Cricket in a press release announced the election of Mr. Shammi Silva, uncontested, as the President of Sri Lanka Cricket for the 2025–2027 term. This marks his fourth consecutive term in office and the third time he has been elected
uncontested.
The following office-bearers for the 2025–2027 term were elected uncontested.
Honorary President: Mr. Shammi Silva
Honorary Vice President: Dr. Jayantha Dharmadasa
Honorary Vice President: Mr. Ravin Wickramaratne
Honorary Secretary: Mr. Bandula Dissanayake
Honorary Treasurer: Mr. Sujeewa Godaliyadda
Honorary Assistant Secretary: Mr. Chryshantha Kapuwatte
Honorary Assistant Treasurer: Mr. Lasantha Wickremasinghe
The Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) election was held today under the supervision of the Election Committee, chaired by Honorable Retired Court of Appeal Justice Ms. Malani Gunaratne, who officially declared the results, said the statement.
The election took place alongside the 64th Annual General Meeting of Sri Lanka Cricket at Cinnamon Grand, Colombo.
