‘The Importance of Incident Investigation for Business Continuity’

As occupational health and safety awareness and adherence become increasingly important in workplaces, the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Workplace Health and Safety Association of Sri Lanka (WSHA) will host an informative webinar on The importance of Incident Investigation in Ensuring Business Continuity on December 2, 2021.

The webinar will offer advice on implementing the necessary steps to investigate workplace safety-related incidents as well as the tools necessary to collect and organize data, by experts in the field including Lankapriya Galwatte – Regional Process and Machinery Safety Engineer, South Asia, Middle East & Africa, GSK; Randika Moses – Head, Health & Safety, Insee Cement; and Dr. Aseni Wickramatillake – Adviser, Occupational Health, Hygiene & Ergonomics.

The webinar will also explore the importance of understanding the root causes of incidents and offer advice on the practical application of investigation tools using a general template.
