Dear Kids Pre School in Thalawatugoda proudly held its annual Art and Craft Exhibition today, showcasing the incredible talents of its young students. The event was attended by parents, well-wishers, and the community, celebrating eight years of dedicated service to the Thalawatugoda area.
This exhibition is a highlight on the school’s calendar, alongside other cultural celebrations such as the Sinhala and Hindu New Year, Annual Singing and Drama Day, and various religious festivals, including Christmas. These activities help expose children to rich cultural values and traditions.
The Art and Craft Exhibition featured over 200 creative pieces made by the students, creating a vibrant atmosphere for all attendees. The event allowed families and friends to appreciate the artistic expressions of the preschoolers.
In an interview with thesundayreader.lk, Mrs. R.A.S. Priyadarshani, the Founder and Head Teacher, reflected on the school’s journey, stating, “We started with just one child eight years ago, and now we proudly nurture over 50 students each year. I am grateful to have the opportunity to contribute to this community and provide our children with a strong foundation for their future.” She also expressed her gratitude to the parents and staff members, Ms. B.A.S. Ruwanthi Nihara and Mrs. Anusha Priyadarshani, for their unwavering support in nurturing the growth of these little learners.
