H.E Andrei Rzheussky, Ambassador of Republic of Belarus to Sri Lanka called on the Speaker Hon. Mahinda Yapa Abeywardene yesterday (02).
Both sides discussed the re-constitution of the Sri Lanka – Belarus Parliamentary Friendship Association and the enhancement and reactivation of bilateral cooperation.
Also, the attention was paid to providing more educational opportunities to the students of the two countries by improving the inter-connection between the universities of Sri Lanka and Belarus.
The Secretary General of Parliament Mr. Dhammika Dasanayake was also present on this occasion.
