Dr. Prasantha Jayamanna – the Chairman of Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA) has emphasized that all port operations are taking place as normal.
Accordingly, all terminals of the Port of Colombo including the South Asia Gateway Terminals (SAGT), Colombo International Container Terminals (CICT) and the Jaya Container Terminal (JCT) of the SLPA are carrying out its operations as normal.
Steps have also been taken, covering all suburbs and regions to afford transportation for employees to facilitate them reporting work.
