Sabry Bahaudeen representing Classic Travel (Pvt) Ltd was unanimously elected as President of the Travel Agents Association of Sri Lanka (TAASL).
TAASL being an approved association of The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce and the APEX body for outbound tourism in Sri Lanka, held its 46th Annual General Meeting recently on a hybrid platform.
TAASL plays an integral role in all important private sector decision-making forums and has representation on the governing boards of the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA), the Sri Lanka Institute of Tourist Hotel Management (SLITHM) and the Tourism Industry Skills Council.
The Travel Agents Association of Sri Lanka (TAASL) is the National Travel Agents body in the Country, founded on October 22, 1974 and representing the interests of 148 outbound travel agents in Sri Lanka.
