The Chamber Academy, the knowledge arm of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce together with Facebook and SLAITO will be hosting a webinar on the topic of ‘The importance of Tourism to the Economy’.
The discussion will focus on the Tourism industry which is one of the larger employment generators to Sri Lanka, employing 3 million direct and indirect individuals.
The industry has an ambitious target of welcoming 7 million tourists by 2025, while growing earnings to USD 10 billion per year in the process.
