‘Catering to the Post-Pandemic Consumer’, the first session at the upcoming Sri Lanka Retailers Forum 2021 will focus on customer value as online / digital platforms become a core part of the business while exploring the role played by digital shifts in the customer journey.
This year’s Sri Lanka Retail Forum themed, ‘Recharging Retail: Resilience to Results’ is scheduled for the October 13, 2021.
The discussion will dive into some of the emerging trends and needs of the consumer regionally and those taking place locally. The expert panel will discuss on the local retail industry’s readiness to cater for such a shift. This session will explore the new buyer behaviour patterns, and provide insights if the current short term trends would persist for a longer time.
The expert presenters lined up to reveal these insights during session one are Dymfke Kuijpers, Senior Partner McKinsey & Co and Himalee Madurasinghe, CEO – Kantar Sri Lanka.
They will be joined by panelists Mohammed Rizvi – CEO – Softlogic Retail (Pvt) Ltd. and Rakhil Fernando – Managing Director – Daraz in the panel discussion.
The session will be moderated by Dr. Rohantha Athukorala – – President/ Country Head Clootrack – Maldives and Pakistan.
