Lankan Airlines has announced a special ‘buy one and get one free’ offer for the Russian holidaymakers to visit Sri Lanka during this summer vacation period. This offer will be valid till October 31, 2021.
This special offer would enable the Russian leisure travellers to explore numerous attractions available in Sri Lanka after the country relaxed the travel regulations to the tourists.
The discounted air tickets together with special incentives offered by the Sri Lankan industry partners would indeed influence Russian holidaymakers to choose Sri Lanka as the best place to travel.
Minister for Tourism Promotions and Aviation, Prasanna Ranatunga and Chairman, SriLankan Airlines, Ashok Pathirage made this announcement in Moscow with the objective of promoting Sri Lanka as an attractive travel destination among Russian Holiday makers. This decision was taken after a discussion between local travel partners and industry leaders in Moscow.
SriLankan Airlines became the first airline to open the direct air passage between the two countries on July 31, after the pandemic while returning to Russia after six years.
Currently, Sri Lankan Airlines flies to Moscow every Friday from Sri Lanka, with plans to increase its frequency during the forthcoming winter season.
