Melstacorp donates Rs. 25M for fight against COVID-19

Melstacorp PLC handing over the equipment to Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.

Melstacorp PLC recently donated medical equipment worth SLR 25 million to set up a real-time PCR laboratory at the Infectious Disease Hospital, Angoda. This is a part of the organization’s broader initiative to actively support the government in its fight against COVID-19.

Director Melstacorp PLC, Hasitha Jayawardena; Stasshani Jayawardena, Director Aitken Spence PLC; Dr. K. Thiyagarajah Iraivan, Executive Director, Melsta Hospitals and CEO, Melsta Health, represented Melstacorp PLC in an official meeting for handing over the equipment to Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.
