SAG Squash starts tomorrow

Sri Lanka Squash has things on store to showcase at the 13th South Asian Games with SL Squash ladies being recognised as a formidable force tapping the doors for a fitting Gold or a silver medal.

The Mens and the Ladies individual championship will get under way tomorrow in Kathmandu and all eyes are on the Team Sri Lanka as they have prepared and planned ahead to perform well in this tournament in Nepal.

Thesundayreader.lk ,  whilst talking to the famous Pakistan team Technical officials said ‘ your Sri Lanka Girls team has performed extremely well in the resent past and so are the men, so we look forwrad to see some competitive squash display by them here, in Kathmandu’.

Whilst speaking to the Sri Lanka Coach said ‘ Looking at the mens round robin for the SAG championship, Sri Lanka will have to fight with the much experienced Indian  players if they are to seal a medal slot but can expect  to put up a good, recognisable performance’ said the Sri Lanka Coach Mr Thalagala

The matches will get under way at 11 am local time at he Kathmandu squash Complex.
